Good vision is vital to everything you do. Only through a comprehensive eye examination can we diagnose eye disease in its earliest stages. During your visit, your doctor will perform a variety of tests and procedures to assess the health and function of your eyes. Digital retinal images will be taken to compare the health of your eyes from year to year, as well as laser imaging (OCT) or ultrasound of cornea to diagnose and manage glaucoma. Emergency problems (pain, red eye, infections, sudden vision loss, etc) are given special consideration and will generally be seen the same day. OHIP covers eye examinations for seniors (65+), children (up to age 19) and adults with specific eye diseases or health issues.

Dr. Bain and Dr. Martyres provide consultations, pre-operative and post-operative care for several cataract and or laser centres, including Focus Eye Centre and Lasik MD. Ask us about the risks and benefits of laser eye surgery.
